  • Bihar Centenary Car Run to be flagged off from Delhi today
    In the spirit of  Bihar Centenary Celebrations 2012,  a Centenary Car Run from New Delhi to Patna will be flagged off from  Dilli Haat , New Delhi today with an aim to spread awareness about Bihar  It is being organized by Magadh Motor Sports Club  and  will be flagged off from Dilli Haat at 4.00 today
  • ASI to excavate ruins of Vikramshila University
    The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) plans to take up conservation work of the ruins of Vikramshila University in Bihar and excavate nearby areas in April. ASI Patna circle's Superintending Archaeologist Sanjay K. Manjul said that conservation work of the remains of the ancient university would begin next month.
  • Bihar Centenary Car rally on its way to New Delhi
    Bihar Centenary Car Rallies are  being organized on behest of Bihar turning 100 years . Two Centenary Car Rallies are being organized , one by Bihar Government  and the other by Magadh Motor Sports Club. The  latter one would be flagged off from New Delhi on March 22 while the first one is on its way to New Delhi
  • Bihar to get 50 percent of Power from NTPC Barh Plant
    Barh based NTPC Thermal Power Plant would be operational by 2013  and Bihar would get 660 MW of Power from the phase 2 of the plant which is almost half of its total capacity. As revealed by CM Nitish Kumar, Central Government has agreed to give 660 MW of Power generated in Phase 2   to Bihar.

    • India to introduce online FIR filing by next year
      New Delhi:  There would soon be no need to go to apolice station to file a first information report (FIR) with online registration available by the end of the year or early next year, Home Minister P. Chidambaram said Wednesday.
