Google to help you in finding Hotels

Posted: 23 Jan 2012 01:52 AM PST

Google has come up with a new tool which would help you in searching hotels when you are going abroad, for a tour or for leisure.

Integrated with Google Maps, it would show all the hotels at a 20 minutes distance to your point of interest.
You can Access Hotel Finder at http://www.google.com/hotelfinder/

It has the ability to filter hotels by travel time, price, ratings and reviews as well as hotel class.

The transit time search is only available in cities where Google has partnered with local transit agencies to get their data in Google Maps. Where no transit data is available, it will display walking time.

It also has a "popularity" tool based on the recent Search Plus Your World and shows users search results most preferred by others in your circle.

More About Gangetic Dolphin
Being a mammal, the Ganges River dolphin cannot breathe in the water and must surface every 30-120 seconds. Because of the sound it produces when breathing, the animal is popularly referred to as the ‘Susu’. They are among the oldest creatures in the world along with crocodiles, sharks and some turtles. As top predators they are not eaten by anything else.
It is the most threatened cetacean and among the world’s most threatened mammals. They are threatened by accidental gill net fishing, bycatch, use of their oil as fish bait, by pesticides and river fragmentation from agricultural irrigation and dams. It is listed as an endangered species in the IUCN Red Book and as a Flagship Species by WWF. The Ganges river dolphin has been recognized by the government of India as its National Aquatic Animal.
